A Photo and More

The Dali Museum has a collection built over decades since 1940 by a Floridian.  It owns 2,400 paintings from Dali's life from early small works through huge later works, the largest collection outside Spain. https://thedali.org/about-the-museum/history/

I snapped this on the right of his large (13'x10') Columbus Discovering America from 1959.  How long does it take to paint this?

Dali's melting clocks are widely known, but not their meaning.  https://baterbys.com/dali-symbolism-melting-clock/

This whimsical melting bench with clock is one of many objects on the grounds based on a Dali theme.  No reason I couldn't have sat on it, as long as I picked the safe end.

This is the photo that made me create this "Personals" page.

I got carried away a bit.

Carole and I toured the Dali museum in St. Petersburg, FL in 2016 and greatly enjoyed it

Below is a photo taken on the grounds outside the large building, since happily I have nothing

unpleasant to report of a Personal nature. I'm pleased to say.

I have no information on how class members are faring with coronavirus-19.

I hope that no news is good news.
